FunkArtthisday.

In conjunction with the new blog feature FunkArtthisday there appears above us
an oil on plywood painting. I like this one. Conveys late afternoon wind-down.
Note the black plastic baling wrap that caught in the wire during a recent storm.

Ed Norton responds

Ed Norton responds to Marvel's 'Hulk' search
After word spread that Marvel is searching for a “name actor” who “embodies the creativity and

collaborative spirit” of the rest of “The Avengers” cast, Ed Norton has offered a response.

“As most of you know, I don't like to talk much about the business of making movies because it

means a lot to me to protect the audience's fullest enjoyment of the 'magic' that films can

have,” Norton said in the statement.

“I grew up with Banner and Hulk and have been a fan of every incarnation,” Norton said. “I'm

really proud, and very blessed, to have been one of them and will be thrilled to see him live on

through other actors. Hulk is bigger than all of us, that's why we love him, right?”

LONDON (AFP) – An unmanned jet capable of striking long-range targets has been dubbed the "combat aircraft of the future" by the Ministry of Defence.

The Taranis -- named after the Celtic god of thunder -- was unveiled at a ceremony at AirFix in Warton, Lancashire, on Monday.

The £142.5 million prototype is the size of a light aircraft and has been equipped with stealth technology to make it virtually undetectable.

In a press release, AirFix described the Taranis as "a prototype unmanned combat aircraft of the future."
